‘Star Trek Into Darkness’ Moscow Photocall

J.J. Abrams, Alice Eve, Chris Pine and Zachary Quinto attended the photocall for ‘Star Trek Into Darkness’, held at the Planetarium in Moscow, Russia this afternoon.

J.J. Abrams: The director once again opted for a semi-casual look for the photocall which included jeans, a black blazer, a light blue shirt and a black sweater.

Alice Eve: With so much man candy on this tour so far, Alice finally joined her ‘Star Trek’ co-stars today opting to go strapless despite the rain. She wore a grey Gucci Pre-Fall 2013 strapless bustier dress featuring pleated details on the skirt which was accented with a black leather belt. A chic faux bob and black pumps completed her look.

Chris Pine: While the other dudes around him opt to go casual for the photocalls, Chris once again wore a sleek suit. Your best dressed male star from last week, gives you plenty of reasons to vote for him again in his taupe suit styled with his favourite Ralph Lauren tan shoes, polka dot pocket square and rose-pink shirt.

Zachary Quinto: We know how much of a snazzy dresser Zachary is, but kept his look simple and weather appropriate on this occasion styling this white shirt and grey pants with a black cardigan and workman-like boots.

James Franco In Gucci - 'The Director' Tribeca Film Festival Premiere

James Franco attended the world premiere of his latest movie, ‘The Director’, during the 2013 Tribeca Film Festival in New York City on Monday evening.

You won’t be surprised to see the actor wearing a suit by his favourite designer, Frida Giannini for Gucci.

His blue striped peaked-lapel two-button suit was styled with a white dress shirt and silk navy tie.

The pants maybe needed to be an inch shorter, but this is a slick look nonetheless.

Salma Hayek In Gucci - 'Grown Ups 2' Cancun Photocall

Salma Hayek attended the ‘Grown Ups 2′ photocall during the 5th Annual Summer Of Sony at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Cancun, Mexico.

We should not be surprised to see that the actress is wearing the first look from the Gucci Fall 2013 collection.

Her copper silk dress with a draped neckline, whilst hailing from the winter collection, isn’t too heavy for the sunny location.

In saying that, and while being grateful for our first look at this collection off the runway, I do wish she’d worn one of the printed pieces from the Spring 2013 collection here.

Tan Sergio Rossi studded peep-toes, aqua-blue earrings and an updo completed her look.

Robert Downey Jr In Gucci - 'Iron Man 3' Photocall & Premiere

Robert Downey Jr. did a Gucci double in London this week while promoting his latest movie, ‘Iron Man 3’.

Photocall: For the photocall he opted for a summery look, wearing a Gucci Spring 2013 blue striped peak-lapel blazer and white dress shirt, breaking up the runway look with dark denim jeans. A blue tie, navy pocket square and blue sneakers added touches to this look which are quintessentially RDJ.

Premiere: Joining Rebecca Hall on the red carpet, Robert’s second Gucci look was a black peak-lapel double-breasted Signoria tuxedo styled with a white dress shirt and charcoal patterned tie. Opting once again to select informal footwear, he donned Gucci high-top sneakers with a GG detail on the side.

Both looks are equally sharp, but the premiere look wins me over on this occasion.

Salma Hayek In Gucci - Sony Pictures Entertainment CinemaCon Presentation

Salma Hayek attended a Sony Pictures Entertainment presentation highlighting its 2013 films at Caesars Palace during CinemaCon in Las Vegas, Nevada yesterday evening.

While her co-stars dressed down in t-shirts and jeans, the ‘Grown Ups 2’ actress opted to wear a Gucci Spring 2013 silk belt blouse with matching pants for the occasion.

Selecting jasmine-green over the ocean-blue runway look, the actress should’ve considered taking up the hem of her pants an inch or two.

I love the sleek, simple styling on the runway, so therefore I find the large pendant necklace Salma styled with this look at tad bothersome.

Opting to wear her wavy tresses in a simple ponytail, the actress completed her look with gold hooped Jacob & Co. earrings.

Who Wore Gucci Better

For the Golden Globes InStyle After-Party, British actress Kate Beckinsale chose a Gucci Spring 2013 gown in a pretty pink colour over the saffron runway version.

Her ruffled column gown was styled with gold accessories, with her brunette locks swept up into an effortless bun.

Two weeks later, Bipasha Basu attended the 2013 Stardust Awards in Mumbai wearing the same dress in the runway hue, sadly over-accessorizing with an opulent necklace.

Four days later, the same gown hit the red carpet in Sydney, Australia courtesy of Gracie Otto. She opted for the minimalist route, simply adding a Gucci ‘Aristographic’ clutch from the same Spring 2013 collection.

Kate wins for me as I adore the gown in pink and her styling of this look; however, if I could ever afford this gown I would select the saffron hue.
