Greta Gerwig In Gucci – 2018 Time 100 Gala

Greta Gerwig continue her Fall mood for the 2018 Time 100 Gala on Tuesday (April 24) in New York City.

The ‘Isle Of Dogs’ actress wore a Gucci Pre-Fall 2018 dress crafted from moody violet velvet which celebrates the house’s love for opulence.

Large crystal embellishments inspire a vintage feel that’s part of Alessandro Michele’s vocabulary, but it was the Lady Bird buttons – a homage to her Directorial role in the Oscar nominated film – which I found the most charming.

Graziela Gems completed her look.

Paula Patton In Gucci – ‘Traffik’ LA Premiere

Paula Patton joined co-star Roselyn Sanchez for the premiere of ‘Traffik’ on Thursday (April 19) in Hollywood, California.

Dressed in Gucci, I have two views on this look.

1. Like Paula, it’s brimming with personality (some would say multiple personalities) and I can tell she had a look of fun with this.

2. As much as I always want to root for Paula, there is a lot of hit and hope about this outfit.

From where I am sitting, there are three looks going on here. Nothing works together, but I can’t help be warmed by that beautiful face and smile.

Blake Lively In Gucci & Marc Jacobs – Sesame Street

Blake Lively recently took to Instagram to show off her bonding time with Big Bird on the set of ‘Sesame Street’ on Tuesday (April 17).

You’d think she might have been overshadowed by the giant, highlighter-yellow bird beside her.

But, that was certainly not the case with her Marc Jacobs rainbow-stripe sweater and Gucci plisse-lurex midi skirt in more colour-spectrum shades styled with holographic heels.

Pink has worn this skirt before, but I fell more in love with Blake’s happy-chic interpretation here.

Variations on Skittles candy hues have been popping up everywhere lately—from Rosie Huntington Whiteley to Janelle Monae and Storm Reid, among others.

I would have never considered myself a wear-the-rainbow girl, but with all these glorious, pot-of-gold-worthy looks, consider me properly converted.

Rihanna In Gucci – Coachella 2018

As I was saying yesterday, Rihanna can sell anything other than sheepskin over-the-knee slouchy Ugg boots and couple of tent-like Cannes gowns, but this Gucci Fall 2018 look has me shook.

Last year at Coachella the Bajan beauty rocked a bedazzled Gucci bodysuit with a matching mask, and this year’s look seemed to steer down the same path.

Most would’ve taken a few pieces from this look like the white sweater or the blue and white striped shirt, but Ri Ri adds some sass with the Elisabeth Weinstock snakeskin trousers and matching boots, with, the pièce de résistance: a black and white balaclava with opulent chandelier earrings.

Leave it to Rihanna wear a balaclava in the middle of the desert, but at least she doing something a little more original than expected denim shorts, body chains, crop top and flower crowns.

Le Vian diamond ring and Neil Lane retro gold bracelet and diamond and platinum link bracelet completed her look.

This is the step-outside-da-box Rihanna I love.

Shu Qi In Dolce & Gabbana and Gucci – 2018 Beijing International Film Festival

Shu Qi was at the 2018 Beijing International Film Festival in Beijing, China over the weekend, attending two events.

First, the actress attended the ‘Tiantan Award’ jury press conference on Friday (April 13). It would be hard to overlook the blatant romantic quality of this Dolce & Gabbana Spring 2018 design that featured a Cupid motif across its diaphanous layers. The statement earrings were likely unnecessary for the softer side of this dressing gown-inspired style—that, or a sleek bun would have helped de-clutter the neckline.

7th Biennial UNICEF Ball

A trio of ladies turned out for the 7th Biennial UNICEF Ball was held on Saturday (April 14) in Beverly Hills, California.

Alyssa Milano: While I do think the actress introduced an element of glamour with her all-over sequined Landero gown and classic-red lip, I was missing a bit more definition through the waistline to further enhance the proportions of the dress.

Salma Hayek: The royal-purple hue of this Gucci gown was beguiling, with the belt enhancing the ruched waistline. However, the dress may have suffered in execution across the bust line with her bra situation—and I do wish her hair was worn off her shoulders to further celebrate the embellishment.

Molly Sims: Literally bringing the star power to the evening, the model-actress sparkled in a Rani Zakhem Fall 2017 Couture gown. While the star motif may have been a bit trite, my bigger issue with the look was that the sheer sleeves seemed a bit too droopy and I was left wishing for a sleeker finish.
