Cameron Diaz In Gucci - Spike TV's 'Guys Choice 2014'

Cameron Diaz was also at Spike TV’s ‘Guys Choice’ Awards on Saturday (June 7) at the Sony Studios in Los Angeles, California, alongside Laura Vandervoort and Olivia Munn.

Giving the super-leggy looks a rest, the actress hit the stage with actor Jason Segel wearing a Gucci Spring 2014 purple-metallic dress.

The frock featured a slightly oversized, relaxed silhouette, to which I’m not opposed. I did find the rolled sleeves to be a bit distracting.

Enhancing the glitter of the dress, she wore Saint Laurent sparkling studded, black sandals with a thick ankle strap.

One thing’s certain, she undeniably added shine to Jason’s brown suit, which could have been classified as boredom-inducing.

Gucci Cosmetics Launch

Gucci hosted yet another event this week, this time to celebrate the launch of its long-awaited makeup line, Gucci Cosmetics.

The event was hosted at The Carlyle Hotel in New York City on Wednesday (4 June) by Gucci’s Creative Director Frida Giannini in honour of Charlotte Casiraghi, who is the face of the brand.

Charlotte Casiraghi: The woman of the hour donned a pale-blue Gucci Fall 2014 dress with a leather bodice, which was originally presented in mustard. Keeping the look clean and simple, she added silver Gucci sandals.

Frida Giannini: Needless to say, I’m salivating over Frida’s Gucci black jumpsuit. The off-runway piece incorporates the bejewelled bib and leather collar we saw on the Fall 2014 runway.

Solange Knowles: The singer/DJ attended her third event in so many days. Standing out in a hot-pink Gucci Pre-Fall 2014 suit, she added a sea-blue clutch and gold Stuart Weitzman ‘Nudist’ sandals to her look.

Solange Knowles In Gucci - Chime for Change One-Year Anniversary Event

Solange Knowles attended an event to celebrate the one-year anniversary of Chime for Change hosted by Gucci Creative Director Frida Giannini at the Gucci Fifth Avenue boutique on Tuesday (June 3) in New York City, alongside Blake Lively and sister Beyonce Knowles.

Still working super-wavy locks, the singer, who DJ’ed at the event, wore a ’70s-inspired look from Gucci’s Pre-Fall 2014 collection.

This orange silk split-sleeve blouse and cream wool wide-leg trousers look is my favourite of the trio.

I love the glam yet laidback vibe: the neutral makeup, gold accessories and nude Gucci sandals.

Beyonce Knowles In Gucci - Chime for Change One-Year Anniversary Event

Beyonce Knowles attended an event to celebrate the one-year anniversary of Chime for Change hosted by Gucci Creative Director Frida Giannini at the Gucci Fifth Avenue boutique on Tuesday (June 3) in New York City, alongside Blake Lively.

After flirting with braids for a while, the singer returned to her wavy blonde locks for this occasion, donning a white one-of-a-kind Gucci jumpsuit.

I love the Studio 54 feel to this look, an aesthetic that was present throughout the Resort collection.

Featuring a plunging neckline, the jumpsuit elegantly shows off her curvy figure.

The styling was so-so, with black Gucci sandals and a Lorraine Schwartz diamond twist ring rounding out her look.

Blake Lively In Gucci - Chime for Change One-Year Anniversary Even

Blake Lively attended an event to celebrate the one-year anniversary of Chime for Change hosted by Gucci Creative Director Frida Giannini at the Gucci Fifth Avenue boutique on Tuesday (June 3) in New York City.

Once again I’m looking at Blake and wondering what happened, and that’s hard for me to say considering she’s my girl.

This Gucci Fall 2014 dress is all wrong for her, feeling a tad twee and too much up front.

Let’s start with the colour. I’m not a fan of this shade of mustard against her skin tone, nor am I a fan of the leather trims.

The keyhole. I know this will be the deal breaker for most (especially those who often ask Blake to pick boobs or legs, and here she opted for both), and I would agree.

And don’t even get me started on the creases.

The only things I would save from this look are the gold glitter Christian Louboutin pumps and her Lorraine Schwartz jewels.
