As you know, I was underwhelmed by her look for the London premiere, but this Gucci Spring 2026 tailored suit is much more like it.

Some might say this feels too stiff or too safe for someone whose style we have celebrated for decades, but 2025 was not a strong year for her, particularly in May, between the Met Gala and her run as a jury member during Cannes.

In that context, this sharply tailored look feels like a recalibration. The structured blazer, fluid wide-leg trousers and satin blouse create a clean, confident silhouette. The ruffled collar and undone neckline soften the severity of the tailoring, ensuring the look doesn’t veer into corporate territory.

What I appreciate most is the restraint. There are no competing embellishments or unnecessary risks, just precision and polish. After a run of overworked or mismatched moments, this is honestly a relief.

A Cartier Panthère de Cartier necklace and rings completed her look.

Stylist: Maryam Malakpour.
