SNL 40th Anniversary Celebration Red Carpet Roundup

SNL 40th Anniversary Celebration Red Carpet Roundup

Here’s a quick roundup from the SNL 40th Anniversary Celebration at Rockefeller Plaza on Sunday (February 15) in New York City.

Amy Poehler: The actress wore a BCBG Max Azria Spring 2015 white tent-style dress styled with a black oversized blazer for a truly uninteresting look.

Sarah Silverman: The funny gal showcased her figure in a Pre-Fall 2014 Zac Posen creation.

Olivia Wilde: Working a suiting look from H&M’s Conscious Exclusive collection that always serves her so well, I loved the caped blazer she opted for along with the Jennifer Fisher jewels, which added an edge to her look.

Kristen Wiig: The actress wore a grand Max Azria Atelier black satin gown with Jennifer Fisher jewels.

Maya Rudolph: The actress kept it typically simple igorning the ballgown memo for a poorly-tailored jumpsuit.

Tina Fey: Tina capped off the event with a simple pleated black dress that some might deem as boring, but I like the simplistic nature of the look.

In short, I thought this was a poorly-dressed, underwhelming event.

Only Olivia, Kerry Washington and Dakota Johnson stood out for the right reasons.

Olivia came close to a good look, but it just doesn’t work. Sarah looks good in that dress but her hair and makeup are terrible. Overall this was a bad roundup

Slightly disappointed with Amy Poehler’s effort, as her style is much improved recently, but Sarah Silverman looks amazing! She has a beautiful figure and her gown fits her perfectly. Also like Tina Fey’s simple approach, but Olivia Wilde has to be my favorite!

Olivia looks great, she pulls the whole look off, but my favourite at this event was Dakota.

I love Kristen’s look here. She and Olivia are tied for my top two out of this bunch, though Kerry Washington takes the cake for me overall.

Sarah looks fantastic. And I don’t get to say that often but that Posen looks great on her. I would have loved Olivia’s had she opted for a different shirt. Poor Kristen and Amy just never get it right for me.

Rather underwhelming collection of looks. But yes, easily Olivia. She looks remotely stylish and put-together. The others are just wearing clothes.

Olivia of the bunch easily. Loving the edgy and masculine flair, the only look with a sense of style.
