Demi Moore & Tallulah Willis Wear Thom Browne at Step Up Awards

Step Up held its 2026 Inspiration Awards, presented by TOMS, at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles, where guests heard from Step Up teens, young adults and mentors involved with the organisation. Demi Moore was among this year’s honourees.

Storybook Dressing

Demi Moore wore Thom Browne, and with the painterly landscape print, plus the striped tie, pleated skirt, socks, two-tone shoes and day bag, I’m sure many of you are feeling overstimulated by this look. But I actually find it really charming. It’s the colour and storybook quality of the print that wins me over.

I’m even on board with the socks-and-shoes combination, mostly because they coordinate so well with the rest of the look. I would gripe about wanting her hair back, but we know that is a losing battle 98% of the time.

School Uniform Codes

Tallulah Willis joined her mother wearing Thom Browne, and while her checked three-piece look leans much more heavily into the designer’s school-uniform codes, I love the mother-daughter Thom Browne moment. I’m also glad they chose completely different themes from the designer’s vocabulary, giving each look its own identity.
