Laetitia Casta In Christian Dior Couture – ‘Grace of Monaco’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere & Opening Ceremony

Laetitia Casta In Christian Dior Couture - ‘Grace of Monaco’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere & Opening Ceremony

Laetitia Casta attended the ‘Grace of Monaco’ premiere, which also served as the opening ceremony of the 67th Annual Cannes Film Festival this evening (May 14) in France.

Dressed in Dior, the French model wore a strapless Spring 2014 Couture gown with a rise-and-fall hemline detailed with crystal and organza appliqués.

I can still appreciate the beautiful details of this gown despite it being a tad too shapeless for my personal tastes, but I can’t forgive those black pumps with this look.

Dior has such a wide variety of pumps which would’ve been so complementary to this look, so her pedestrian choice baffles me.

    And the shoes are wrong.

+1. I think the dress itself is ugly, the shoes are wrong, well all and all, this is a big NO

I totally agree with you. That poof on the back of the dress makes her ass look huge and not in a good way. This is a horrible look.

Oh, God! There are some supermodels who look constantly bad and ageing on the red carpet… it’s just baffling.

As much as I’d be okay with this neck-up, this is a miss.

+1 and never understand how big fashion houses created this kind of ugly designs…

The dress is beyond hideous, not sure what would make someone be like ” yes thats what I want to wear to Cannes “. Laetitia, you have given us some horrendous moments on the RC, so girl please attend very few events

I don’t think I’ve ever liked one of her looks on the red carpet.

This was beautiful from behind but then I saw the front and all I could think was boxy chicken.

This is just an ugly dress. It looks like she wrapped one of my grandmother’s chenille bedspreads around her like a bathtowel. The poor styling just makes it worse, bad shoes, bad makeup. No no no.

This is so ugly. Just ugly

I really like this look, and I’m glad this couture collection is finally getting some red carpet love. I get that this won’t be for everyone, but it seems like all the other actresses wear the same silhouette – hour glass then mermaid or A-line. Glad someone was daring enough to be different. And she looks great!

    Horrid. Worst of the day!

Considering how many women wear these drab everyday black pumps with beautiful light colored dresses I think there might be something to the idea, something incredibly chic. But if a woman with a face as beautiful as Laetitia’s can’t draw the eye away from her black shoes then that whole idea just has to be wrong.

I was okay with the dress until I saw the back part. Hideous!

  18. kevinappears May 15, 2014 at 10:39 #

Could there be any more ugly Dior dresses?!

    Beautiful woman, but horrid dress.
