Lorenzo Caprile: Red Carpet King Of The Goya Cinema Awards 2014

There is a new red carpet king in town.

Lorenzo Caprile was the designer of the night at the Goya Cinema Awards 2014 held at Centro de Congresos Principe Felipe on Sunday (February 9) in Madrid, Spain, dressing six lovely ladies.

While some actresses opted for an American or Lebanese designer; Belén Rueda, Carolina Bang, Macarena Gómez, Natalia Poza, Marta Etura and Aitana Sanchez Gijon all donned Lorenzo Caprile.

Belén Rueda: The actress’ big and bold polka dot off-the-shoulder gown was both elegant and enchanting.

Carolina Bang: The actress worked a goddess-green off-the-shoulder ruched long sleeve number styled with screen siren tresses, a hot red lip and a gold clutch.

Macarena Gómez: Looking sultry in a lime-green, bold shoulder sequin long-sleeve gown, the look would’ve been much improved without the fur.

Natalia Poza: This was perhaps my least favourite of the night. Cushnie et Ochs could show Lorenzo a thing or two about the perfect cut-out gown.

Marta Etura: Gold embroidered gowns seemed be popular on this red carpet.

Aitana Sanchez Gijon: Rounding out a collection of Lorenzo lovely ladies was Aitana in her red silk strapless gown. I’m intrigued to see how she was able to walk in this gown which featured a draped detail from the hip to the calf.

None of these looks got me excited. If I had to pick a favourite it would be Marta Etura.

    …this round up-post on the other hand…. I’ll pass.

The first two are my favourites here

Macarena’s sequin gown is the standout in this bunch for me – dazzling in the unusual lime-green. And Marta looks h2t lovely.
Carolina is gorgeous but the loud and busy ruched/gathered detailing looks kinda cheap and dated, not excited about that brown polka-dot gown on Belen either, and those cut-outs on Natalia are horrendous.

Man in fur. I cannot. Must. Not. Laugh. Or. Will. Spray. Tea. All. Over. Desktop.

These looks look a bit dated.
