Emmy Rossum In Elie Saab – ELLE’s 20th Annual Women In Hollywood Celebration

Emmy Rossum In Elie Saab - ELLE's 20th Annual Women In Hollywood Celebration

Emmy Rossum was the lady in red as she headed to ELLE’s 20th Annual Women In Hollywood Celebration held at the Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles in Beverly Hills, California yesterday evening.

The ‘Shameless’ actress, sporting a high ponytail, sparkled in several ways: firstly, her stunning Elie Saab Resort 2014 halter-neck cocktail dress was embellished with tonal sequins.

Then, she added a selection of silver jewels, and finally of course there’s that beautiful smile which would light up any room.

Is this too matchy for you, or do you like that her lippie, patent-leather Louboutins and satin clutch matched her dress?

Love this from top to toe!

Perfection. Yes, it’s matchy-matchy but she looks incredible!

This is just okay for me. The red pumps are hmm…. but more importantly the whole look immediately takes me back to her knock-out Naeem Khan which I adored and this just isn’t playing in the same universe.

If I would nitpick, I would’ve said that I don’t like the clutch. But I love the rest, the matchy-matchiness and the stunning dress on her. Emmy actually can do no wrong in my book.

i usually love matchy-matchy looks, but i think clutch, shoes AND lips matching the dress is one matching element too many. Maybe a neutral lip to play up her eyes would make this a perfect look. (Or silver shoes or clutch, but a neutral lip would be my favourite idea)

Agree 100%, it’s a touch overkill for my liking.

I love the red on her and would only suggest a different lip color to provide a little balance

      +1

ITA. The red lip isn’t doing much for the look

She looks good. I like this.

I think I would like this better if she wore sandals instead of pumps.

    Above and beyond!

Too much red for my brain. I could’ve coped with it had she opted at least for the lipstick in a different hue and a clutch with another material.

I love everything she wears… She has that x factor that can pull off this redness effortlessly!

Pretty but with all the red, sparkle, sweet girly skirt and a ponytail starting to look a bit too cutesy and cheesy to me.

  15. Daisy October 22, 2013 at 22:22 #

I also think the lip is a bit too much, and patent shoes really? Go away…

    • KatieKate October 23, 2013 at 03:24 #

And a satin clutch…a little Claire’s looking, but that’s petty, because actually, she looks amazing! Emmy is just such a knockout on the red carpet, she’s such a pro!

  16. TeaAtTwo October 23, 2013 at 14:43 #

I like the matchy-matchy styling. With the sparkly dress I would have left off the jewellery.

ADORABLE. Love all the red–it’s red hot! She looks great, fun, fresh, and fashionable. Best of this even imo.
