Nicola Peltz, a New Yorker newbie to the red carpet, sported pieces from British designers for her red carpet debut on Tuesday night.
The former brunette attended A&E Network’s ‘Bates Motel’ premiere, held at Soho House in West Hollywood, California, wearing a Christopher Kane Resort 2013 dress.
Her princess dress in an avant-garde design featured sheer silk panels and a bold painterly print which makes the dress a show stopper.
Many would’ve hopped on the current white-shoe trend and I wouldn’t have blamed them with this frock; however, Nicola went one step further by adding Nicholas Kirkwood’s ‘Blue Pois’ sandals.
The elegant blue-and-cream elaphe heels feature an orange strap at the toe and a purple-and-orange suede buckled ankle strap.
Side-swept wavy locks, pink glossy lips and smoky eyes completed her look.
I love the look from head to toe. This is a great look for a first-timer; I hope she can keep up to this standard as I will be looking out for her in the future.
You may remember that Rosamund Pike wore this dress in yellow.

She looks great, I love the dress and the shoes.
Great outfit.
The shoe choice is positively inspired. I guess I still like platforms so long as they are not chunky pumps (aka hooves). Love the dress.
I love the shoe, but not with this dress.
What a great look! She looks good.
The hair isn’t working for me, the rest is adorable.
This is a cute dress but i think it is too long for her.
She won me with the shoe choice. This was definitely a good look for a first time. And I think the dress looks so much prettier in blue.
My only complaint is that her makeup is a bit too bland.
Very pretty and suits her to a tee. I really like the shoes with this dress.
The dress is cute, wish skirt was as buoyant as on the model. The shoes are all wrong for me with this though, I know I’m the only one who feels this way, but they just don’t GO with this imo! Something is off about the hair as well.
i love this dress! i’m just stuck right there with the dress. and it’s certainly a great look for a first-timer but i really don’t know if the shoes go with the dress or not. i’m on the fence about them. they r great shoes but not sure they go with the dress.
I love this dress, the print is heavenly. But I agree with the poster who said it is too long on her. I like the shoes …btw, what is an elaphe heel?
the skin
This is fantastic. Kudos to her stylist for even thinking those shoes would work with this dress. I wouldn’t have given them a second glance, but they really work. I prefer the longer length of the dress on her that at knee length on the model. This is a strong look.
I like the dress, but that’s it in this combination, so it’s Rosamund for me.
