Rebecca Hall Wore Proenza Schouler Promoting ‘The Listeners’

Rebecca Hall is back in promo mode for The Listeners. The psychological drama originally aired on the BBC in late 2024, but is receiving a fresh launch in the United States through STARZ, where it premieres today.

Naturally, the British actress-director was out in New York promoting the series.

She was spotted heading to a studio in Midtown wearing a Proenza Schouler Fall 2026 look featuring a short black dress layered over flared trousers.

Considering how much Rebecca favours shorter hemlines, and given the decorative hemline with its grommet and fringe detailing, I was initially surprised that she opted to keep the trousers from the runway styling.

Surprised, but not disappointed. The addition of the trousers gives the look a touch of Beatnik energy, particularly the contrasting white button detailing running along the leg. It shifts the outfit away from being a straightforward little black dress and into something with a bit more personality.
