Amal Clooney Wore Prada To The 2026 Cartier Women’s Initiative
Amal Clooney attended the Cartier Women’s Initiative Awards, where she took to the stage to deliver the keynote address at the ceremony held on Wednesday at Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, Thailand.

The barrister, law professor and co-founder of the Clooney Foundation for Justice opted to wear lilac Prada, a label we don’t often associate with her.

Instead of the sleek column gowns that have become something of a Prada signature on the red carpet, this look took a different route. The elongated tunic-style top draped over a matching skirt, creating a silhouette that felt more architectural. I’ll admit, at first glance I thought this was one of Pierpaolo Piccioli’s new Balenciaga designs on account of the top half of this look.

The muted lilac shade also made for a refreshing change. Amal often gravitates towards stronger colours, but this softer tone felt perfectly suited to the occasion.
Styled with Cartier jewels and gold Aquazzura Artiste pumps, the look struck a balance between professionalism and elegance, ensuring the focus remained firmly on her message while still delivering a memorable fashion moment.
