Best Dressed Of The Week – Ni Ni In Christian Dior & Florence Welch In Gucci

The lead for BDOTW changed several times over the weekend, but you eventually opted for Ni Ni in Christian Dior.

Ni Ni looked so statuesque, seven foot tall someone said, wearing the gorgeous Dior ensemble. What this look did was make us appreciate this Fall 2012 collection, which was instantly dismissed by some of us because it wasn’t designed by Galliano.

My pick was Florence Welch in Gucci.

I love the rich purple hue against porcelain skin and flame red hair.

We aren’t used to seeing this style of dress from Florence, so the rare step out of her comfort zone was very refreshing.

This look also proves that the working relationship between Florence and Frida Giannini continues to be a match made in fashion heaven.

I’m shocked — you and Joan Rivers both picked Florence Welch as best dressed of the week. :)

The gown on Florence is so beautiful but her styling ruined it for me – the silly headband, the braided ‘do, even the earrings….worthy winner from the neck down for me.

I’m a two-time loser this week. Both of these are snoozeville for me.

Ni Ni was one of my choices, and I love the color of Florence’s dress.

florence looks divine. This jewel colour and the slight bronzed tint she has suits her a lot better than the white porcelain skin tone she goes for a lot of the time, rich coulours suit her
