Olivia Wilde Wore Saint Laurent To ‘The Invite’ LA Premiere

Olivia Wilde attended the Los Angeles premiere of The Invite held at the DGA Theater on Tuesday evening.

The actress has never shied away from showing skin, whether through plunging necklines, sheer fabrics or midriff-baring silhouettes, and this Saint Laurent look firmly belongs in the latter category.

The black nylon gown combines a twisted cropped bodice with a voluminous tiered skirt, creating a contrast between exposed skin and dramatic proportions.

The exposed midriff might dominate the conversation, but I think the bigger story is the voluminous skirt and exaggerated sleeves, which prevent the look from fading into the background. It sits comfortably within Olivia’s fashion vocabulary, where unconventional silhouettes often take precedence over classic red-carpet dressing.

You weren’t sold on Saint Laurent’s dramatic silhouettes on Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu or Zoe Kravitz, so how does this look fare?
