Emily Blunt attended the 2012 Harper’s Bazaar Women of the Year Awards, held at Claridge’s Hotel in London on Wednesday evening.
As it was Halloween, the actress opted to wear a pumpkin-orange dress by Alexander McQueen.
Her simple yet gorgeous streamline halter dress with a multi-coloured bejewelled neckline was accessorized with a black satin McQueen knuckle-duster clutch.
Emily didn’t add any jewels to her look as the neckline provided enough bling.
I love her fresh-faced look and how statuesque she looks in this gown.
Are you missing the lookbook leather belt?

I agree that she looks beautifull but I miss the belt… If she had it this would be perfect.

I miss the belt too. It would’ve been BDOTW in my eyes.
me too, without the belt it doesnt really look like a McQueen piece imo. the belt adds a bit of drama.
She looks good as always though
anyone would think that the belt looks fab bcoz it does but i think emily blunt does just absolutely fine without it too. she looks great! so much poise*sigh*
definitely needs the belt.

I prefer it without the belt. She looks gorgeous and the color suits her.

I think, without the belt it looks more elegant
Definitely needed the belt. Also not a fan of hair and make-up (I preferred her with darker hair!)
I like the dress with and without the belt, it is an awesome dress! I think this suits Emily better without the belt. She looks stunning and elegant!

Love the dress, love Emily, but not together. Her skin tone or spray tan (whichever it is) seems to be blending into the dress, its all too orange
I couldn’t agree more.
I’m not missing the belt. I think she looks fabulous.
I love this look; STUNNING!!!

I think it’s actually more elegant sans the heavy belt which doesn’t go well with the elegant collar anyway. She looks lovely!
She went for a softer more elegant look, she DOES NOT NEED the edgier heavy belt here whatsoever, agree. It’s perfect without it, she looks really good.
This exactly, I feel that the belt would only compete with the neckline of this dress. It would also break the lines and make her look less statuesque
The belt is definitely needed.
Spectacular!!! BDOTW. She could have worn the dress with the belt, but it looks just wonderful this way, too. Maybe it would have been uncomfortable to sit in. Love the color, her hair and makeup. She looks so chic.
If I’d just seen the dress without the belt, I’d think it looked great. But seeing it next to the lookbook with the belt — I like it better with the belt. Which is funny, because the neckline and belt really don’t go together.
I don’t miss the belt. But, is it me or does she look exhausted?
The belt is so unique and makes the dress. Without it it’s just boring.
The dress fits her curves so beautifully that the belt is not missed. Glad she shortened it from the look book version as well.
There’s something that’s just a little too basic about this look for me. When McQueen can be mistaken for Michael Kors, something has gone wrong.
That’s where the belt come in picture.
She looks stunning without it too, but the belt would have taking it to perfection!
This dress is crying out for its belt.
I’m not sure what I think–it looks elegant and sleek without the belt, but it might be better with. Undecided.
Emily Blunt, my queen!
