Nikki Reed joined Ashley Greene on the red carpet for ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2′ VIP Comic-Con Celebration at the Hard Rock Hotel in San Diego, California, yesterday.
We don’t often see Etro on the red carpet – I’m guessing that’s because stars aren’t so keen on their difficult-to-pull-off prints – but Nikki manages to make this Spring 2011 look work for her.
Her dress, which was more like a long top on the runway, reaches just above the knee in her much longer version.
The part gold chainmail, part black-and-white beaded striped cocktail dress was styled with a black-and-gold trimmed python clutch, Melinda Maria ring and simple black peep-toes.
On this occasion the simple heels are perfect for a look with so much detail.
Should Nikki have gone shorter, or is this the perfect length?

Perfect length. I’m waiting for hemlines to get longer…
Perfect length. I don’t often like what she wears, but on this occasion I really think she looks great.
This is the perfect length for her.
she should’ve lost the last two bands. the dress looks too big on her. she should’ve had it taken in a little too.
I don’t mind about the length. Everything here is perfect, except for one thing, the hair.
It’s the perfect length. She looks beautiful.

This is the right length. She looks pretty.
Actually, this is pretty good for Nikki. Shoes, OK, not great; hair, might have been better in a casual loose knot pulled away from her face, but i’m not complaining. Ladies, less is always more, and with a dress this interesting, go with less.
Nikki looks gorgeous. Simple looks always look amazing on her. She styled it perfectly. Love.
length is great but i prefer it more like a long top…the shoes are wrong
I don’t mind the length, if anything I like it, but I prefer hwo the runway dress has a more flared skirt, if that makes sense, whcih I think would have been nice because it would have been mreo youthful. I also wish she’d worn strappy sandals, because these feel too heavy, and her hair up.
I like it. Didn’t like the shoes at first, but they have grown on me. I like the length.
Perfect length and shoes but the hair is awful and it ruins the look for me
She looks fine, but I wish she’d have pushed her hair back to show the shoulder detail. The longer version as a dress is okay, but I really liked it as a top with pants.
