Nicole Scherzinger was smouldering on the red carpet at the 2012 Brit Awards, held at the O2 Arena in London this evening.
The former X Factor judge wore a sexy Versace Spring 2012 gown.
Her strapless lemon gown with gold studded details was teamed with embellished strappy sandals and gold jewels.
She kept her signature raven lock sleeks and straight as she completed her look with glossy lips.

It’s a beautiful gown but something about her makes this look “tarty”
Yes, it’s her that makes it look tarty. I’ve never found her to look anything but, no matter what she wears.
I think it’s becuase it’s a bit low on her.
She looks like a Real Housewife of some sort, and I don’t mean that as a compliment. Hike up the dress a bit and take it easy on the bronzer, and maybe then we’re in business?

It´s a pretty gown but it looks like her boobs weren´t taken into account, her bodice needed an addition of an inch or two of extra fabric over her boobs. A bit too much dark long hair, it ages her and cheapens the look at the same time.

I olve the dress, Versace always does it for me. Peculiar, I don’t remember this dress on the runway :/ But I agree with currygirl, my god Nicole. Too bold a lipstickcolor for this dress, too much boobs. This is a relatively classy event, so the bronzer looks excessive as well. Overall, horrible makeup, fabulous dress.

Actually, on second viewing I think the dress looks kind of cheap–I think it is the fabric on the bottom–looks like cheap cotton jersey the way it drapes

This dress is tame for Versace, and yet it looks somewhat tacky. If the bustline were higher, that would help tremendously. Also, Nicole is a beauty but from the distance of this photo, her makeup is aging her.

There is something about Nicole that just does not translate well on the red carpet. I can’t quite put my finger on it but it’s the same feeling I get with Paula Patton- great hair, great face, killer bod but “Eeeh, I’ll pass”… I have no interest in seeing either on the red carpet AT ALL. Its a shame…

That bodice was not supposed to fit like THAT! She looks quite tacky, unfortunately. On the runway the dress is OK but I’m not crazy about it. Plus her shoes are too heavy.
It doesn’t fit her properly, so the bodice is bowing out at her ribs giving her an odd shape and it is sitting too low at the top. Great dress, shame about the fit.
Everytime I see a too-short bodice like this, I get an urge to draw an eye and eyebrow on each boob. Or maybe a pair of little eyes and fingers on each one, indicating a possible escape. Can you tell I’m distracted from the dress by the ill-fitting top?
