Michelle Williams attended the BAFTA Los Angeles 18th Annual Awards Season Tea Party on Saturday afternoon in Beverly Hills, California.
She opted to wear a Victoria by Victoria Beckham Spring 2012 drop-waist dress.
We’ve already seen Victoria Beckham and Celine Buckens wear the pink-and-black version of this dress, but Michelle opted for the white-and-black colour-block dress.
The girlieness of her dress was toned down with simple black patent pumps and a black leather clutch.
Neutral makeup completed her look.
I much prefer this dress in pink and black. It doesn’t have the same impact in black and white.
What do you think?

Same old, same old from Ms. Williams. Meh.
I think this is a great look for her.
I think she looks great in black, it’s more mature but still fun and young. In black this dress looks better and more expensive because the bottom of the pink dress looks cheap.
I think if she’s this consistently boring and unsexy when she’s so young and beautiful that old age is going to be a big snore.
I’m not surprised that she went with this color and length. She’s a pretty woman but oh my Goodness she has absolutely NO sex appeal. How on earth did she get to play Marilyn Monroe? she must be a wonderful actress.
I was surprised, too, when I knew that she was going to play M. Monroe, but she’s a good actress… that’s how she got the role, I guess
Don’t like it. It loses the fun appeal in black and white. I so wish she had worn the pink one – she would have rocked it.
+1. Brighter accessories would have helped a bit.
The dress looks a bit too plain in black and white but she looks nice, simple, elegant and event-appropriate without looking overly girlie (it´s probably for the best she didn´t wear it in pink)
Clearly she is an amazing actress! She doesn’t have to be sexy for every appearance. I think she looks so cute! I love the dress and her red nail add I little pop of colour… Perfection!!!
The pink is so much better, this is very boring.
Cute and boring, as always.
She’s already got that woman/child aura, so dressing this childlike is just too much.
I don’t really like this dress to start with but it is much better in pink and black.
Can anyone tell me who the model is?
