Slayyyter’s MYAT Dress Taps Into Her Showgirl Obsession

Slayyyter appeared on Late Night with Seth Meyers to discuss her newly announced album wor$t man in america, but her love of vintage showgirl costumes also became part of the conversation. She shared that an old French cabaret costume she had worn for a music video apparently contained hazardous materials and gave her a rash.

The showgirl context is really key to understanding why this MYAT Fall 2026 dress was chosen.

The distressed pleated silk is formed to create a showgirl silhouette through the fitted strapless bodice, high-low hemline and dramatic trailing volume. I don’t feel that it looks like a literal costume, but I’m sure many will strongly disagree.

It’s fun and playful, and it leans into what she loves, with MIRAKI jewels and decorative Jimmy Choo Sacora sandals adding even more personality without competing with the dress.

I love this for her, and I will always take this over a late-night LBD.
