Michelle Yeoh Shines in Dior at Busan Film Festival
Michelle Yeoh joined Charlotte Gainsbourg on the red carpet for the opening ceremony of the 2026 Busan International Film Festival on Tuesday.

The Oscar-winning actress wore a Dior Resort 2027 embroidered pink and gold silk dress that had me checking the collection twice, because everything about this feels worthy of a Haute Couture label.
It’s the craftsmanship that immediately sets it apart. The embroidery follows every fold of the drapery, while the square neckline provides a clean counterpoint to everything happening below. Even with this level of detail, the dress never feels weighed down by its embellishment.

Usually, I am firmly on team ‘a dress this detailed does not need a pearl necklace,’ but Michelle proves me wrong here. The necklace, earrings and bracelets take an already glamorous dress and push it into grand red carpet territory. Considering the scale of the Busan opening ceremony, I wouldn’t want her to have dialled it back.
Michelle can be experimental. Sometimes it works, and sometimes we are left scratching our heads, but when she commits to pure glamour, few do it better.
Her beloved Richard Mille watch was given the night off, with Dior pink satin pumps completing one of her most beautiful looks of the year.
