Naomi Osaka Takes a Darker Turn in Roberto Cavalli

Before I give you a roundup of the notable looks from Vogue World Milano that caught my eye, Naomi Osaka’s look deserves its own moment, especially as she only just shared it on Instagram.

Naomi is all about colour, so seeing her take a darker turn in Roberto Cavalli’s Fall 2026 collection immediately had my attention. And if you’re going to abandon colour, this is certainly one way to make black feel anything but predictable.

The sheer Chantilly lace blouse and voluminous skirt are covered in distressed chiffon, creating a raw, almost feathered effect that gives the all-black look plenty of texture. But what really sells this for me is the silhouette. The crinoline gives the skirt its sweeping shape, and Naomi has the height and presence to carry that much volume.

For someone whose fashion identity is so closely linked with colour, this was an unexpected detour, but a convincing one.
