Nicole Kidman Revisits Menswear-Inspired Tailoring in Chanel
Nicole Kidman recently made a guest appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where she talked about starring in Troye Sivan’s She’s the Best music video, reuniting with Sandra Bullock for Practical Magic 2 and wearing a disguise so she can go raving in Ibiza.

One quick look at this charcoal suit and it would be easy to mistake it for Thom Browne, and it is that striped tie that might lead you down that path, but this look hails from the Chanel Pre-Fall 2026 collection.
Nicole may be our glamour goddess, but her history with tailoring has been well documented here. Remember her Saint Laurent moment at the Critics Choice Awards?
This Chanel look plays with the same masculine codes, but the result feels distinctly feminine on Nicole. The fitted, single-breasted jacket is key. Its nipped waist gives definition to the silhouette. Then there is the pink shirt and striped tie, which soften the traditional grey suiting without taking away from its menswear influence.

Suited and booted, the black shoes give the suit a firmer finish than the two-tone pumps shown in the lookbook.
For someone we associate so readily with gowns, Nicole continues to make a convincing case for tailoring.
