Chase Sui Wonders Wore Dior & Valentino To ‘I Want Your Sex’ LA & New York Premieres

Chase Sui Wonders attended both the LA and New York premieres of I Want Your Sex this week, showcasing two looks with distinctly different moods. One embraced soft romance with effortless ease, while the other moodier, although it benefited enormously from being seen beyond the step-and-repeat.

LA Premiere

The romantic mood was established from the outset in Dior Resort 2027.

On paper, a combination of a sheer white lace top and black lace skirt might sound revealing, but the styling kept everything refined. The soft contrast between the ivory and black gave the look a light, summery feel.

Styled with Tiffany & Co. jewellery and classic black Dior pumps, everything worked in harmony to create an elegant premiere look that felt fresh and perfectly suited to a summer red carpet.

New York Premiere

Chase took a much moodier approach in Valentino Spring 2026.

Against the black backdrop, much of the detail was lost. The sheer lace bodice, and the fluid draping blended into the background, making the look feel heavier than it actually was.

Seeing Chase leave the venue completely changed my perspective.

In daylight, you immediately notice that the trousers are a deep navy rather than black. You also get a much better sense of the lace bodice and the chiffon draping, giving the outfit a lighter, more fluid quality that the red carpet lighting failed to capture.

The look was styled with the Valentino Garavani DeVain bag, and while I still can’t get on board with the Valentino Garavani Révélé shoes, I will say this look far more successful away from the dark backdrop.

Stylist: Austen Turner.
