Charlize Theron Wore Givenchy To ‘The Odyssey’ Beijing Special Photocall

There was a second photocall for The Odyssey, which also doubled as a meet-and-greet, that Charlize Theron attended at Universal CityWalk in Beijing, China, on Thursday, following the earlier photocall that day.

This appearance was considerably more glamorous, with the actress wearing what is probably her most dramatic silhouette in quite some time: a Givenchy Spring 2026 black-and-silver lace dress.

Charlize’s press tour wardrobe never relied on a single theme or colour story, but it hadn’t really delivered one of those unforgettable fashion moments – those London premiere white gloves aside – until now.

The sculptural silhouette, plunging lace bodice and intricate silver embroidery gave us something altogether more theatrical, and so unlike Charlize in terms of silhouette. But if anyone has the poise and presence to bring a dress this commanding to life without disappearing beneath it, it’s Charlize.
