Tracee Ellis Ross Wore Prada, Loewe & Marc Jacobs Promoting ‘Every Brilliant Thing’
Tracee Ellis Ross continued promoting her starring role in the Broadway play Every Brilliant Thing in New York City yesterday with three more looks, following the Sportmax sheer-trouser ensemble she wore the day before. As ever, there was plenty of variety, proving once again that Tracee never approaches a press tour with a one-note wardrobe.

Tracee wore a Prada Fall 2026 look that marked a return to bold colour and graphic embellishment. The crisp pale blue shirt balanced the vivid red embellished skirt, creating one of those combinations that only Tracee seems able to wear with complete ease.
I wasn’t sold on the accessories, though. The woven basket bag was charming enough, but the extra bag tucked inside left me scratching my head. The bag-within-a-bag trend continues to baffle me. Why not just carry a bigger bag?

While I could question why Tracee was wearing leather trousers in the middle of summer, I absolutely adored this Loewe Pre-Fall 2026 look.
You will probably recognise the house’s signature logo-embossed leather trousers, which Michaela Coel wore in black and red back in April as part of a full Fall 2026 runway look. Here, the styling felt much more summer-ready thanks to the simple white vest.
My heart skipped a beat when I spotted the red Loewe Origami Cubic pumps. Paired with Tracee’s matching red lipstick, they heightened the energy of this look. The Loewe Amazona 180 bag, which seems to have become the celebrity carryall of the year, completed another winning look.

One thing we’ve learned this summer is that Tracee clearly has a soft spot for the Marc Jacobs Spring 2027 collection. This was her second outing in the collection, once again embracing one of the designer’s layered looks.
Is she making it work? Absolutely.
Her figure looks incredible, and that dramatic layered necklace is a work of art in its own right. Even so, I’m not entirely convinced this was the right choice for the occasion. The bodysuit-and-tights combination initially gave me dance-rehearsal or ballet-studio vibes, while the statement necklace steered the look somewhere altogether more decorative. This look just never had the same rhythm as her earlier appearances.
