Reese Witherspoon Wore Chanel On Good Morning America
Reese Witherspoon made a guest appearance on Good Morning America today, continuing the pink thread that has run through the celebrations marking the 25th anniversary of Legally Blonde and the upcoming Prime Video prequel series, Elle.

Lexi Minetree has been using archival fashion to connect herself to Elle Woods, and now it appears that Reese is doing much the same. The actress wore a pink Chanel Spring 1995 look from Karl Lagerfeld’s famously Barbie-inspired collection, bringing another layer of fashion nostalgia to the occasion.
The bouclé jacket and matching skirt may initially read as Barbiecore, especially given the saturated shade of pink, but the stronger connection is to Elle Woods herself. Throughout Legally Blonde, Reese’s character embraced pink skirt suits as both a personal signature and a form of confidence dressing, whether navigating Harvard, the courtroom or everyday life.
While this Chanel look predates the film by several years, it sits comfortably within the same visual language. The fitted silhouette and monochromatic styling feel entirely at home within Elle Woods’ wardrobe, making this less of a costume reference and more of an extension of the character’s enduring influence.
There is also something fitting about Reese revisiting archival fashion while Lexi Minetree does the same. As the original Elle and the actress preparing to inherit the role continue promoting the franchise, both women are using fashion history to reinforce the connection between past and present.
The actress completed her look with a pale pink Vestirsi Vera baguette bag and Manolo Blahnik Callasli sandals, keeping every element within the pink palette.
Stylist: Petra Flannery.
