Michelle Obama Wore Celine For The ABC News Special
Barack and Michelle Obama appeared together for ABC News’ special The Obama Legacy: First Joint Interview Post-White House, their first joint television interview since leaving the White House. The conversation coincided with the opening of The Obama Presidential Center in Chicago and reflected on their lives, work and legacy beyond the presidency.

The appearance also gave Michelle Obama another opportunity to showcase her style as she once again turned to Celine during a week of celebrations.
Michelle wore the Celine Opera dress, a black one-shoulder design featuring a single cape sleeve.
Styled with black satin Celine Vamp pumps, the former First Lady once again demonstrated her preference for elegant pieces that prioritise wearability and versatility. The simplicity of the black palette allowed the silhouette to take centre stage, while her relaxed styling and softly textured ponytail kept the look from feeling too formal.

Alongside Michelle, Barack Obama remained faithful to his familiar tailoring formula in a navy suit. The absence of a tie reflected the conversational nature of the interview, striking a balance between presidential polish and post-White House ease.
The couple spent the week celebrating the opening of The Obama Presidential Center, and these appearances continue to show how naturally Michelle’s wardrobe moves between public engagements, television appearances and more ceremonial occasions without ever feeling disconnected from her personal style.
