Tom Holland’s ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ Press Tour Style So Far

Alongside Zendaya’s much-discussed Spider-Man: Brand New Day press tour wardrobe, Tom Holland has been building a style story of his own. Familiar labels, relaxed tailoring and an easy approach to dressing have defined his appearances so far. Here is a look at what he has worn on the tour to date.

New York Press Junket

Tom’s press tour began in New York last week, where he stepped out in one of his trusted labels, Prada.

The combination of the cobalt-blue jacket, pale-blue shirt and cream trousers felt relaxed, easy and perfectly suited to a summer press tour, especially amid a New York heatwave.

Madrid Photocall

Tom kicked off the official photocall circuit in Madrid wearing a custom Jacquemus look built around the film’s red-and-black colour story.

The bright-red shirt peeking out from beneath the black workwear-inspired jacket felt like a clear nod to Spider-Man’s signature palette, but it never crossed into gimmicky territory.

Opening Ceremony Of The Plaza Selección Fan Zone

Despite being English, the actor was on hand to open the Plaza Selección Fan Zone ahead of Spain’s World Cup match against Cape Verde, which ultimately ended in a draw.

For the occasion, he returned to Prada. It was probably the most casual look of the tour so far, but it worked. The styling felt approachable and appropriate for a fan event rather than a photocall or premiere.

Amsterdam Photocall

Today, Tom switched gears in a Thom Browne suit.

I like the idea behind this look. The striped tie, cropped proportions and utilitarian pocket details all carried the designer’s signatures, but the execution didn’t quite land for me. The fabric appeared unusually stiff both in photographs and on video, leaving the suit looking slightly rigid when it should have felt more natural and fluid.

Of the four looks so far, the custom Jacquemus and the first Prada outing remain my favourites. Prada has long been one of Tom’s go-to labels, so I wouldn’t be surprised if we see it make several more appearances before this press tour wraps.
