Dakota Johnson Wore Valentino To The TIME100 Gala

Dakota Johnson attended the 2026 TIME100 Gala held in New York City last night.

The actress, who is a Valentino ambassador, wore a look from Alessandro Michele’s Fall 2026 collection.

Dakota has always been the perfect muse, hence her following him from Gucci to Valentino, and even though I have liked even her most revealing outings, I’m struggling to get on board with this one.

It just feels so drab on her. The design is uninspiring, the colour even less so, and while the spaghetti straps are slight, having them exposed here doesn’t work; a strapless design would have been far more effective. The overall feeling is pretty dated.

Add in the fact that I can see black shoes poking out under the hemline, and this is easily one of my least favourite looks from Dakota Johnson to date – easily and without question.
