Sadie Sink Wore Prada To The ‘Romeo & Juliet’ Opening Night After Party

Sadie Sink is no stranger to theatre, having appeared on Broadway, but last night she made her West End debut, playing Juliet at the Harold Pinter Theatre on the opening night of Romeo & Juliet in London.

For the press night after-party held at Quaglino’s, the actress wore a Prada ivory silk satin empire-line pleated gown adorned with crystal and sequin floral embroidery.

Sadie is no stranger to wearing Prada, and judging by this dress, the Prada family clearly favours her too, because this is easily one of the best Prada gowns we have seen on the red carpet this year.

The colour is pitch-perfect on her. The soft ivory tone complements her complexion beautifully, while the fluid pleats, empire-line cut and delicate embellishment at the shoulders bring a sense of romance that feels entirely in tune with the Romeo & Juliet setting.

And this is where Prada excels. When the house leans into elegance like this, the results speak for themselves. Which only makes it more frustrating that this level of consistency isn’t always there, something we’ve been saying for well over a decade now.

But on this occasion, everything aligned. This feels thoughtful, appropriate, and, most importantly, memorable for such a significant moment in her career.

Repossi jewels completed her look.
