Celebrities at the ‘Imperfect Women’ LA Premiere
Apple TV celebrated its upcoming limited series Imperfect Women, a new psychological thriller starring and executive produced by Elisabeth Moss alongside Kerry Washington, with Kate Mara also starring, at a premiere event last night.
Dark Lace With A Corseted Core
Honestly, I do like Kerry Washington’s Zuhair Murad Pre-Fall 2026 sheer black lace two-piece look. The structured corset bodice layered beneath the high-neck lace top really saves the look, because without it this would have tipped into overly revealing territory. The corsetry provides much-needed structure, allowing the transparency of the lace not to be the headline. Messika jewels completed her look.
Mind The Length
Elisabeth Moss opted for a more understated moment in a black strapless Sau Lee gown. The simplicity works for her, however, the hem needed to be about two inches shorter, which would have sharpened the silhouette and prevented the skirt from feeling slightly heavy at the floor. Fred Leighton jewels completed her look.
Spring Energy On The Carpet
Kate Mara, who we all know is the opposite of her LBD-loving sister Rooney Mara, was the one bringing the first signs of spring to this red carpet in a colourful floral appliqué Oscar de la Renta Spring 2026 dress styled with a Melinda Maria ear cuff. This is the kind of dress that does most of the heavy lifting thanks to its texture and vibrant palette. That said, the beige pumps are dulling my enthusiasm. With a dress this lively, the shoes should have joined the conversation. Yellow, pink, or even pale blue would have felt far more in tune with the spirit of the look.
The eight-episode series will make its global debut with the first two episodes on Wednesday, March 18, followed by new episodes every Wednesday through April 29.
