Elisabeth Moss In Monique Lhuillier – 2019 SAG Awards

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon features Elisabeth Moss In Monique Lhuillier - 2019 SAG Awards

Nominated for her work in ‘The Handmaid’s Tale,’ Elisabeth Moss attended the 2019 SAG Awards on Sunday (January 27) in LA.

Some of you were not loving her short look at the 2019 Golden Globes, so that won’t be an issue with this Monique Lhuillier Fall 2019 point d’esprit ball gown.

While there’s something that’s not quite sitting right with the black sash and the dropped waist, I am still glad she’s continuing to explore different styles of dress after what was once a bout of predictability.

The barely-there, subtle Jennifer Meyer jewelry also made for a modern finish to the more fairy-tale, princess-y look.

Elisabeth Moss In Christian Dior Haute Couture – 2019 Golden Globe Awards

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon features Elisabeth Moss In Christian Dior Haute Couture - 2019 Golden Globe Awards

Elisabeth Moss went short at the 2019 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday (January 6) in Beverly Hills, California. She attended alongside Charlize Theron and Claire Foy.

‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ actress, who is nominated this evening, was outfitted in a Christian Dior Haute Couture look that redefined the blazer dress with its lapel accents and twisted front.

The necklace feels out of place and distracts from the unique neckline of the frock.

Elisabeth Moss In Christian Dior - 'Her Smell' New York Film Festival Premiere

Elisabeth Moss was back on the red carpet for the 56th New York Film Festival premiere of ‘Her Smell’ on Saturday (September 29) in New York City.

You weren’t too enamored by her Emmys look, but I’m confident you will see this Christian Dior Pre-Fall 2018 in a far more favourable light.

The actress dazzled in this silver sequin embroidered gown, keeping it firmly in the spotlight by opting for minimal jewels and neutral makeup.

Personally I wouldn’t change a thing. The look perfectly marries high impact with minimal effort.

Elisabeth Moss In Vera Wang – 2018 Emmy Awards

Elisabeth Moss In Vera Wang - 2018 Emmy Awards

Elisabeth Moss was also at the 2018 Emmy Awards on Monday (September 17) in LA.

I wanted to love this custom Vera Wang design, as it was a different look for the actress. But, the proportions gave me some pause with the long corset piece and shortened, slit skirt.

Christian Louboutin ‘Follies Strass’ pumps and Harry Winston jewels attempted to enliven this minimalist take on an LBD.

But, it was the platinum-blonde locks and red-tinged eye shadow with the orange-red lip that created a certain overall harshness to the look.

‘Her Smell’ Toronto International Film Festival Premiere

'Her Smell' Toronto International Film Festival Premiere

The premiere for ‘Her Smell’ took place during the 2018 Toronto International Film Festival on Sunday (September 9) in Canada.

Cara Delevingne: While this Balmain Fall 2018 dress does fit the models edgy persona, I very much feel like I would’ve liked to have seen something different from her. This look almost feels too obvious. Casadei over-the-knee boots completed the look.

Amber Heard: After this weekend events you may never want to see another bias-cut dress again, but the texture of this dress from The Row sets it apart from the others, and that vixen red lip intensifies the sultry mood.

Gayle Rankin: Simone Rocha tends to present delicate chiffon floral dress, but this Fall 2018 look took on a new direction. While the praying hand print scarf-like inserts feel a bit random, they do add an edge to the look, which Gayle herself is channeling with her stance.

Elisabeth Moss In Vivienne Westwood – 2018 GQ Men Of The Year Awards

Elisabeth Moss In Vivienne Westwood - 2018 GQ Men Of The Year Awards

Elisabeth Moss picked up the GQ ‘Television Actor of the Year’ award for ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ at the 2018 GQ Men of the Year Awards on Wednesday (September 5) in London, where she joined Kate Beckinsale and Rita Ora.

Some of you struggle with Elisabeth’s style, believing that she’s never matched her breath-taking moment at the 2014 SAG Awards, but this stunning moment in Vivienne Westwood might just make you change your mind.

The style of dress is nothing new, granted, but this ivory rose printed silk satin classic corset dress from the British designers made-to-measure collection is easily Elisabeth’s best look of 2018.

I love how womanly this feels as the look is so flattering.

The styling including the hair and makeup felt fresh, and you can tell that she is feeling the look which is 100% the sexiest thing of all.

‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ Hulu Finale Screening

Colour was on the cards for Madeline Brewer and Alexis Bledel at ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ Hulu finale screening on Monday (July 9) in Los Angeles, California, but the rest of their cast mates had another idea.

Elisabeth Moss: The actress opted for a simply, yet sultry Carolina Herrera custom tux. What none of the pictures picked up – unfortunately – was the keyhole back and pink silk duchess satin ribbon detail.

Samira Wiley: I’m not really feeling the tailoring of this dress, but I believe a more interesting choice of sandals would’ve enlivened the look.

Yvonne Strahovski: Continuing to nail maternity red carpet dressing, I like the subtle details on her breezy BOSS dress, but I love her addition of her Malone Souliers ‘Maureen’ sandals. I kinda wish Yvonne and Samira had swapped shoes.

Hulu’s ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ FYC

The ladies of Hulu’s ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ attended the For Your Consideration event on Thursday (June 7) in Beverly Hills, California, serving up a range of summery styles.

Alexis Bledel: This was easily my favourite of the group. A soft knit texture and a fitted silhouette makes this striped dress a contemporary but versatile statement from Diane von Furstenberg’s Spring 2018 collection. Factor in those yellow pumps and jade-green earrings and I’m coveting this look from head-to-toe.

Madeline Brewer: Red carpet suiting has presented itself in many forms of late. Madeline threw caution to the wind by opting for this harlequin Teresa Helbig Spring 2017 sequin suit with Brian Atwood’s ‘Valerie’ pumps. If you’re having a case of déjà vu, that’s because Angela Bassett wore the full length version of this look. I love Madeline’s version as it possesses a playful, youthful spirit.

Samira Wiley: The actress wore a beautiful Georges Chakra cobalt blue sleeveless jumpsuit with a ruffle overlay detail from the Spring 2017 collection. All that was missing from this look was a yellow or orange clutch to liven things up. Maxior diamond earrings completed her look.

Hulu Upfront: The Handmaid’s Tale

The 2018 Hulu Upfront was held on Wednesday (May 2) in New York City, with Samira Wiley and Elisabeth Moss from ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ in attendance.

Samira Wiley: The one-shoulder cape of her Lavish Alice Spring 2018 dress brought a swish of drama to the teal mini, with the actress matching shoes to frock for a consistent effect.

Elisabeth Moss: With its collar neckline and retro spirit, this Delpozo Pre-Fall 2018 design was right in keeping with some of Elisabeth’s favoured style points. However, I loved seeing her have some additional fun with the colour-block effect and the sassy highlighter-yellow pumps to jazz up the look.

Elisabeth Moss In Christian Dior – ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ Season 2 Premiere

Elisabeth Moss attended the premiere of Hulu’s ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ Season 2 on Thursday (April 19) in Hollywood, California.

When I saw her in this Dior red dress and leather jacket combo, it immediately took me back to her Oscar de la Renta Cannes look.

In that setting the look didn’t quite work for me, but on this occasion I’m loving the vibe.

Elisabeth tends to sticks to fit-and-flare dresses that come in bright colours of which this is a classic demonstration. The ’60s- and ’70s-era she’s channeling here maybe something she’s picked up from her ‘Mad Men’ days.

Sassy embellished Louboutins and a matching red Tyler Ellis clutch completed her look.

Elisabeth Moss In Christian Dior Couture – 2018 Oscars

Elisabeth Moss attended the 2018 Oscars on Sunday (March 4) in Los Angeles.

The actress wore a blush-toned Dior Couture gown with a Roger Vivier clutch and Harry Winston jewels.

This is such a lovely, classic look from the color to the draping to the styling, and the clutch is such a piece of art.

Elisabeth’s simple waved hair raspberry lip are all perfect with this dress, but my complaint is that she looks so uncomfortable! She usually has such an easy confidence on the red carpet, but something here is off, and it’s throwing the whole look for me.

Elisabeth Moss In Adam Selman – 2018 SAG Awards

I have been patiently awaiting the return of some sizzle to Elisabeth Moss’s red-carpet M.O., and dare I say, she took a step in that direction at the 2018 SAG Awards on Sunday (January 21) in LA.

Her style tends to be a bit predictable, but this custom Adam Selman subtly glinting gown broke the mold with its sultry attitude, halter neckline, and front slit.

The length may have seemed a bit awkward, but I just appreciate that she’s exploring a fresh new form of allure.

Giuseppe Zanotti heels and Repossi jewels alongside a classic red lip finished out the ensemble.

What did you make of it?
