Front Row at Louis Vuitton Fall 2026

Today, Louis Vuitton presented its Women’s Fall-Winter 2026 collection designed by Nicolas Ghesquière held at Cour Carrée du Louvre in Paris during Fashion Week.

Crisp Shirt, Dramatic Volume

Zendaya has been spending a lot of time out of the spotlight, no doubt preparing for a massive 2026 ahead. With press tours lined up for The Drama with Robert Pattinson, The Odyssey, Spider-Man: Brand New Day with her fiancé Tom Holland in July, and Dune: Part Three with Timothée Chalamet in December, her calendar is already stacked. During those tours we are likely to see plenty of Louis Vuitton, so her being front row to get first dibs made perfect sense. The actress a look from the Louis Vuitton Spring 2026 collection that as far from your average shirt dress with the sculptural collar and the exaggerated volume of the skirt giving this outing its expected impact.

Archive Confidence

Lisa stepped into the archive wearing a Louis Vuitton Fall 2016 look that perfectly captures her fearless approach to fashion. There is a lot going on here, from the ruffled part-leather blouse, yet she carries it with enough attitude that the chaos feels under control.

Understated Always Works

Ana de Armas took the understated route in a sleek Louis Vuitton backless dress, which will always get a co-sign from me.

Great Look, Wrong Shoes

As you know, I am a diehard Jennifer Connelly in Louis Vuitton fan, and that very much remains the case with this Louis Vuitton Spring 2026 draped jumpsuit. But, and this might surprise you, I do not like the shoes. Jennifer has worn all manner of Nicolas Ghesquière’s conceptual footwear, but it took a pair of standard black pumps for me to finally say no. They simply do not work with this look and stick out awkwardly.

Accessories At Odds

I understand the accessory push in this front row, we see it every season, but both pieces feel completely at odds with Alicia Vikander’s sleek grey Louis Vuitton short suit, disrupting what could have been a very clean look.

LV’s Awards Season Queen

Chase Infiniti, who has been killing it this awards season in her custom Louis Vuitton looks, kept that momentum going here in a commercial look that felt youthful and relaxed.

A Welcome Change

I was most delighted to see Léa Seydoux in a Louis Vuitton look that was not black. This Louis Vuitton Spring 2026 floral look, paired with softer styling, was long overdue and genuinely refreshing.

Not Quite Landing

I love Hoyeon, but this might be the one Louis Vuitton look she simply cannot sell to me. From the shiny fabric, ruffles and the accessories, none of the elements quite come together.

A Very Hard Sell

Urassaya Sperbund’s Louis Vuitton parachute pants are already a very difficult proposition, and the rest of the outfit only makes the styling feel more confusing.

One Simple Fix

I am imagining a pair of red sandals with Liu Yifei’s Louis Vuitton mini dress, because that single change might have transformed the entire look. I would have taken the runway shoes too.

This Might Be A First

I have to say that I don’t dislike what Alana, Danielle and Este Haim are wearing here. Danielle’s oversized off-the-shoulder knit paired with tailored grey trousers is the standout for me. I would wear that entire look in a heartbeat, just perhaps in another colour. The only element I would change is Alana’s boots, which feel a touch heavy. Everything else here is perfectly palatable.

Understated Chic

Phoebe Dynevor delivered one of the most refined front-row moments of the day. It is minimal, but not boring. In fact, it is refreshing to see this quieter side of Louis Vuitton styling.

A Simpler Direction

With awards season behind her, Erin Doherty shifted gears after a run of sculptural silhouettes. Here she opted for something far more relaxed: a classic aviator jacket layered over wide-leg trousers. The look leans into understated cool.

Graphic Contrast

Stacy Martin’s look plays with contrast in a way that feels distinctly Nicolas Ghesquière. The cropped leather top paired with wide-leg trousers creates a sharp silhouette, while the cascading brown disc embellishments running down the sides introduce a slightly unexpected detail, but one that gives the outfit its personality.
