Alexander Skarsgård Wore Valentino To ‘The Moment’ Sundance Film Festival Premiere

Alexander Skarsgård joined Charli XCX on the red carpet for the Sundance Film Festival premiere of The Moment on Saturday.

The actor wore a look from Valentino Pre-Fall 2026 collection that leaned heavily into a ‘Seventies ’70s European intellectual mood. It brought to mind an Italian arthouse director at Cannes, particularly Luca Guadagnino.

The muted, earthy palette does most of the work here, reinforcing that ’70s reference, while the layered combination of a vintage inspired track jacket and a long trench coat places the look firmly before the era of the power suit. It felt relaxed, and slightly offbeat in a way that suits the actor well.

The floral printed tie introduced a note of playfulness, echoing the lighter humour he brought to the red carpet throughout 2025.

Then there are the flip flops. On paper, they make little sense for snowy Utah, but in the context of his recent red carpet choices, it would be more surprising if there were no eccentric detail at all.
