Celebrities at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival

Here is a recap of the other notable looks from the Sundance Film Festival this weekend, where winter dressing, personal style aligned, for the most part.

Natalie Portman, Sundance Film Festival 2026, The Gallerist premiere, Sundance red carpet, Dior coat, Tiffany and Co jewellery, winter film festival fashion

The Gallerist Premiere

Natalie Portman delivered one of the strongest examples of winter dressing at the festival in a tailored coat that leaned into Dior’s long standing codes. The structured silhouette, precise tailoring and classic proportions felt firmly rooted in the house’s history, proving how effective Dior’s outerwear can be when allowed to lead the look. The coat did all the work here, offering warmth, and elegance. She finished the look with Tiffany & Co. jewellery and an “Ice Out” button.

A Tribute To Founder Robert Redford

Tessa Thompson wore a tan suede Khaite Saraphina jacket and Clover trousers styled with CompletedWorks earrings. It was simple, unfussy, and suited the tone of the tribute without trying to do too much.

Chris Pine, Sundance Film Festival 2026, Sundance red carpet menswear, tan corduroy suit, 70s inspired menswear, Park City fashion, Sundance Institute

Chris Pine followed a similar colour direction, opting for a rich tan palette. The corduroy suit, wide lapels and open relaxed shirt leaned fully into a ’70s mood, with the complementary shoe choice sealing it for me.

Zoey Deutch, Sundance Film Festival 2026, Sundance red carpet, Proenza Schouler maroon wool dress, Juju Vera Eliza silver earrings, Park City fashion

Gail Daughtry And The Celebrity Sex Pass Premiere

Zoey Deutch was easily one of my favourites at the festival in this maroon Proenza Schouler wool dress. The impact came from the colour choice, which gave the dress presence without asking anything extra of the design which was elevated by a striking pair of Juju Vera Eliza silver earrings.

Danielle Brooks, Sundance Film Festival 2026, If I Go Will They Miss Me premiere, Sundance red carpet, Simkhai Carrington leather bustier gown, leather gown red carpet

If I Go Will They Miss Me Premiere

The bust on Danielle Brooks’ Simkhai Carrington leather bustier gown was far too small and genuinely uncomfortable to look at. Everything else worked beautifully, including the gloves, but the poor fit undermined what should have been a standout moment.

Rachel Sennott, Sundance Film Festival 2026, The Moment premiere, Sundance red carpet, Chloé Fall 2025, Chloé faux fur trimmed jacket, Chloé Hobo bag, Château Treasure choker

The Moment Premiere

Rachel Sennott is usually the one to deliver weather inappropriate but entertaining looks at Sundance. This time, she went the other way in a weather appropriate Chloé Fall 2025 faux fur trimmed jacket with simple trousers. Even with the jacket, Chloé Hobo bag and Château Treasure choker, the result felt subdued by her standards. But subdued doesn’t equal bad.

I know you do not love this Miu Miu Spring 2026 apron direction, but it is hard to deny that this is the strongest showing from the collection so far, worn by Hailey Gates.

I Want Your Sex & The Invite Premieres

I much prefer the leather coat to the Dolce & Gabbana lace dress. The latter felt expected, while the former made more sense for both the setting and the moment. This was a classic case of practical versus predictable.

Rock Springs

A simple statement necklace transformed the mood of Kelly Marie Tran’s black For Love & Lemons satin and lace gown, pushing it into more gothic territory.

Kiernan Shipka, Sundance Film Festival 2026, The Shitheads premiere, Sundance red carpet, Delphine mini dress, winter event dressing, Park City fashion

The Shitheads Premiere

Kiernan Shipka opted for a Delphine mini dress that managed to feel playful without ignoring the realities of the season. In a weekend where many struggled to balance personality with practicality, this struck a note that felt youthful while still appropriate for the setting.

Dave Franco continued the festival’s ongoing affection for tan tailoring. As you would expect, his suit was well cut and well fitted, reinforcing tan as one of the quiet winners of the weekend.
