A$AP Rocky Wore Chanel To His Saturday Night Live After-Party

Fresh from A$AP Rocky’s Don’t Be Dumb listening party, Rihanna and A$AP Rocky were spotted heading to the Saturday Night Live after party following his co hosting gig. It may have been a low key outing by celebrity standards, but from a fashion perspective, there was plenty worth talking about.

Rihanna wore Saint Laurent again. This time, she opted for a canvas cropped track style jacket from the Resort 2026 collection, paired with a black ponyhair pencil skirt, creating an uncanny balance between sporty and sleek. Anchored by Loewe New Comic leather and suede knee high boots and finished with jewels from Briony Raymond, it is not as glam as her last outing, but very much in line with where her style recognisably sits.

A$AP Rocky, meanwhile, remains one of the most compelling figures in menswear today. His role as a Chanel ambassador genuinely excites me. Where Kendrick Lamar often leans into Chanel denim or the occasional tweed look, Rocky approaches the house with far more curiosity, gravitating towards statement runway pieces instead.

Chanel collections are designed with womenswear in mind, but Rocky has never treated that as a boundary. He has long been comfortable pulling from traditionally feminine codes and reshaping them through his own lens. That confidence was on display here in a Chanel Pre-Fall 2026 tweed coat, styled with a red sweater, jeans, and shoes, all from Chanel. On paper, it is a lot. On Rocky, it makes complete sense.

This is why his partnership with Chanel works. He is not dressing for approval or following a formula. He dresses instinctively, trusting his own eye, and allowing the clothes to meet him there.

Stylist: Matthew Henson.
