Erin Kellyman Wore Miu Miu To The ’28 Years Later: The Bone Temple’ London Premiere

Erin Kellyman joined her co star Emma Laird for the world premiere of 28 Years Later The Bone Temple at the BFI IMAX in London on Tuesday, marking her return to the spotlight following her press tour for Eleanor The Great last year.

The British actress wore a Miu Miu dress cut from a soft satin. What draws me in immediately is the back. The way the fabric curves upward into two bows that frame the open back is beautiful, and honestly, this is the only angle where I fully fell in love with the dress.

I do not understand why Miu Miu added a black and white label to the front of this gown. If this were one of the brand’s playful apron styles, or a look where branding is part of the visual language, I could accept it. But on a dress this refined and stripped back, it feels completely out of place.

If branding was required, it should have been tonal. As it stands, it interrupts the flow of an otherwise beautiful design and distracts from what should have been a seamless moment. Which is frustrating, because without that label, this dress would be perfect.
