Celebrities in Valentino for the 2026 Critics’ Choice Awards
Alessandro Michele dressed four very different personalities in Valentino for the 2026 Critics’ Choice Awards — a house you voted your favourite red carpet label of 2025. From haute couture romance to classic tailoring with a twist, the looks showcased Valentino’s range without forcing a single Michele-style narrative.

Soft Focus Couture
Amanda Seyfried wore a Valentino Haute Couture gown from the Vertigineux collection. Because of its romantic elegance, my first thought was that this felt like a Naomi Watts or Elle Fanning dress. But it also suits Amanda’s refined presence beautifully, offering a quiet sense of glamour that feels natural on her.

I’ve been on the fence with a number of her looks lately, but I have no splinters with this one. Tiffany & Co. jewels added a gentle sparkle.

Black, Again
Rose Byrne also chose Valentino Haute Couture from the Vertigineux collection, staying within her familiar black palette. This, however, wasn’t one of her simpler black moments. The detailing and silhouette brought more shape and interest than we usually see from her.

The real star of the show, though, was the Messika Star Chaser High Jewellery statement earrings, which introduced a modern contrast and lifted the overall look.

Classic With a Twist
Alexander Skarsgård appeared to dial things back after a playful 2025, opting for a custom Valentino suit that leaned into classic awards season tailoring. That said, the bow details at the cuffs injected just enough personality to remind us that the flair is still there.

Almost There
Adam Brody wore a Valentino Spring 2026 striped suit that flirted with vintage charm, but for me, the look needed a different tie colourway to fully land.
