Celebrities Celebrate The 20th Anniversary Of L’Oréal Paris Women of Worth

For its 20th anniversary, L’Oréal Paris gathered a powerhouse lineup of ambassadors and Hollywood icons at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures to honour this year’s Women of Worth — phenomenal changemakers whose work continues to inspire communities across the country.

But this is L’Oréal Paris, after all, so naturally the beauty of the night extended beyond the stage. The red carpet was a full spectrum of glamour, and personality.

A Repeat Worth Repeating

We’ve seen this Wiederhoeft Fall 2023 corseted shimmering dress before — on Tessa Thompson, then Millie Bobby Brown — but Ariana DeBose made it feel fresh again. Maybe it’s the rich cranberry shade. Maybe it’s the fit. Maybe it’s the holiday-adjacent sparkle that reminds us we’re somehow weeks from Christmas. Whatever the magic formula is, this is one of her strongest outings on the red carpet. The Tiffany & Co. jewels were the final flourish. A win is a win.

Fluffy, Frosty, Fabulous

Apparently, we’ve entered woolly mammoth season — and I’m not mad. Kendall Jenner, who normally leans towards sleek silhouettes, and dark colour palettes surprised everyone in this Bottega Veneta Spring 2026 embroidered feathered look (shown as a top on the runway). It’s cosy, it’s beautifully unexpected, and the soft yellow Sofia pumps add an off-beat twist.

Refreshing Idea, Tough Execution

I appreciate Heidi Klum for resisting the obvious evening gown and choosing a suit — but Stella McCartney tailoring remains a tricky, as we learned from America Ferrera’s outing earlier this year. I’m still baffled as to how a designer with a Savile Row background can produce a blazer this ill-fitting. Solid A for effort, on Heidi’s part, though.

Always, Effortlessly Radiant

From the colour to the drapery and the bugle beads, Helen Mirren looked breath-taking in this Erdem dress from the Fall 2025 collection, which she styled with the label’s Bloom bag featuring matching bugle beads. This woman never lets me down. She’s forever gloriously graceful.

Vintage Glam Wins Again

Ariana Greenblatt is a young actress who knows how to dress for these glam occasions. When we usually see her on the red carpet, she has that angsty teenage, moody vibe with a wardrobe to match, but for L’Oréal, she’s all smiles and glamour gowns. If you’re anything like me, you’re looking at this Valentino Fall 2007 strapless velvet, chiffon and sequin gown and thinking it wouldn’t have looked out of place during Mikey Madison’s awards season run.

A Blue Mood, In the Best Way

Known for her princess gowns, Aja Naomi King took a sharper turn in this blue leather LaQuan Smith Fall 2025 dress. It’s sleek, confident, and refreshingly different for her — enough edge to feel new.

Sleek and Understated

Gillian Anderson wore a structured black Rebecca Vallance dress with a train that sits firmly in her minimalist lane, with the sheer panel and embellished neckline preventing this from being swallowed by the step-and-repeat. Paired with Gianvito Rossi sandals and Fernando Jorge jewels, her look was elegantly complete.

Goddess in Aubergine

Andie MacDowell stepped onto the black wearing a deep plum gown with soft draping and a sensual halter neckline.
