She stepped onto the red carpet wearing a black Gabriela Hearst Resort 2026 floral silk jacquard suit — structured, sleek, and very much in her wheelhouse. We weren’t exactly enamoured the last time a suit relied on a draped scarf to make a statement, but this? This works. The satin scarf detail adds a textural contrast to the floral base that feels chic rather than fussy or ageing.
If I were to tweak anything, I’d shorten the trousers by just an inch to sharpen the line, but honestly, the overall effect is so beautifully composed that the nitpick feels minor. This is Jodie at her best — unfussy, elegant, and completely aligned with a style vocabulary she has honed over decades.
Day Two
For the awards ceremony, the actress wore a Valentino Spring 2025 Haute Couture look by Alessandro Michele, giving us a completely different mood from her opening-night tailoring. The crisp white jacket, punctuated by an oversized black bow, strikes that Michele balance between classic and eccentric, while the wide-leg trousers keep the silhouette grounded in Jodie’s beloved suiting codes.
It’s more theatrical than what she usually gravitates toward, yet she wears it with such effortless composure that the flourish never overwhelms her. Instead, it becomes a chic, characterful twist in her Marrakech wardrobe — a reminder that even her quieter style can take a playful detour.
