Cynthia Erivo Wore Givenchy To The ‘Wicked: For Good’ Paris Photocall
Cynthia Erivo joined her co-star Ariana Grande inside the halls of the Palais Garnier for the Wicked: For Good Paris photocall, and while Ariana leaned into Glinda’s fuchsia romance, Cynthia took us somewhere altogether richer and more enigmatic.

She wore a custom Givenchy by Sarah Burton black sheer lace gown that played with light and shadow in a way that felt deeply theatrical. The open back was framed with a bustle skirt that created shape rather than volume, while a black leather waistband delivered a sharp, modern counterpoint to the delicacy of the lace. It had a kind of held breath about it — the stillness before the orchestra strikes its first note. Not loud, not attention-seeking, just entirely self-possessed and assured in its presence.

It’s a look that acknowledges her Elphaba era without leaning into costume. There’s storytelling here, but it remains rooted in Cynthia’s innate sense of strength and glamour. If this is the starting chapter of her Wicked: For Good press tour wardrobe, we’re in for something very memorable.

Black lace Givenchy Sliced platform pumps and Chopard jewels completed her look while complementing her nails.
