Jennifer Lawrence Wore Dior To The ‘Die My Love’ New York Premiere
Jennifer Lawrence has been promoting Die My Love since Cannes, and if you’ve been keeping score, her red carpet run has been uneven at best. I’ve only really liked her Dior Haute Couture gown in Cannes and the Armani Privé look in London. Now, I can finally add the New York premiere to that shortlist — making it three out of seven. Not the best batting average, but when Jennifer delivers, it’s worth the wait.

Her last Dior outing in Rome felt more daytime than premiere ready, but Jonathan Anderson redeemed things in New York, putting one of Dior’s most long-standing ambassadors back in her sartorial sweet spot. The structured black draped gown struck the ideal balance between classic and current — the kind of sleek minimalism that plays to her natural ease.
The architectural folds added interest without excess, and the asymmetric neckline framed her shoulders beautifully. The thigh-high slit offered just the right amount of attitude, showing that sophistication doesn’t have to mean safe.
I know the choker will divide opinion, and while I’m not entirely sold on it myself, I’m taking this moment and choosing — for once — not to be nitpicky.
