After her stunning appearance at the London Film Festival on Friday, I’m genuinely stunned by this follow-up — her first look from Jonathan Anderson’s Dior Spring 2026 debut. And I’m not ashamed to admit it: I don’t get it.

The oversized cashmere sweater with its draped neckline reads more off-duty chic in Tribeca than red carpet glamour in Rome. Paired with a frothy white tulle skirt, the mix of matte knit and romantic texture feels more disjointed than daring. It’s not giving what Jonathan Anderson thinks it’s giving. I’m usually all for awkward chic, but this one leans more confusing than cool.

Beyond the styling, it doesn’t do justice to Jennifer’s natural elegance or her signature minimalist aesthetic. She’s mastered the art of the clean, tailored Dior woman — crisp silhouettes, structured gowns, and effortless polish. This slouchy sweater-and-skirt pairing feels at odds with that legacy. While it might have photographed beautifully in an editorial or looks fashion-forward thinking on the runway, on the red carpet it loses direction.

I have run out of energy to get into the shoes.

I had really hoped that seeing the looks on the red carpet would change my mind about this collection, but if anything, it’s only making me like it less.

Jessica McCormack earrings completed her look.

Stylist: Jamie Mizrahi.
