Celebrity Street Style With Gucci La Famiglia
While we are yet to have Demna’s post-Gucci Spring 2026 debut look hit the red carpet – and I’m placing a bet that Dakota Johnson will be the first – there have already been some sightings of the new Gucci La Famiglia collection out in the streets of Paris and LA.
What we have consistently seen during this creative-director shift is that their favourites will follow them wherever they go. And, of course, it was only a matter of time before we saw Kim Kardashian in Gucci La Famiglia.
Unapologetic Opulence
Kim selected the most Kim K look from the collection—an ivory and grey high-neck shearling coat that radiates the unapologetic opulence of 1980s Paris. The coat’s chain belt accentuated her waist while evoking that era’s jet-set luxury, and the GG silver mesh crystal heels elevated the outfit into full high-gloss territory. It’s glamorous, powerful, and a little defiant—everything you’d expect from Kim.
Retro Swagger, Modern Cool
A$AP Rocky, once the poster boy for Bottega, looks to have entered his Gucci era—and he’s thriving in it. His GG canvas jacket carried that unmistakable retro swagger reminiscent of Dapper Dan’s Harlem heyday, while the Our Legacy Third Cut trompe-l’œil jeans and Gucci La Famiglia white high-top sneakers grounded the look in modern streetwear ease.
Two Icons, One Dress
The collection is barely two weeks old, and we already have our first rerun—or close to it. Lady Gaga was spotted in Paris wearing the same feather-accented black GG lace dress we saw on Serena Williams at The Tiger premiere. Serena opted for the long-sleeve version, while Gaga went sleeveless, adding her signature twist with oversized platforms and nighttime shades. Different styling, same impact—two women, one standout dress.
Family Outing, Fashion Edition
While en route to Victoria Beckham’s Spring 2026 show, the Beckham family once again proved that style runs deep in their DNA. My heart is melting with David Beckham doing his best dad duty to shield Harper from the rain in her petal-pink Victoria Beckham gown. But it was Romeo Beckham who made the fashion statement in Demna’s Gucci La Famiglia leather slim-fit jacket embossed with the Gucci Crest. His flared jeans with metal Horsebit detailing might look long to some, but remember—this is Demna’s aesthetic.
The collection may be young, but it’s already proving its power.
