After the One Battle After Another New York screening, Teyana Taylor kept the momentum going, treating the walk to Good Morning America like it was her own runway.

Teyana’s last outing—the Helen Anthony coat came off a little heavy—so I wondered how you feel about this latest look.

It hails from the Sacai Fall 2025 collection, and honestly, it feels like one of those outfits only Teyana could carry with such ease. Sacai is all about contrasts, and she leaned into that ethos beautifully here.

The sequined, armour-like bodice immediately set a bold tone, while the long wool skirt, cut with a dramatic slit, added just the right amount of edge. Glossy, military-green knee boots sealed the mood, pushing the whole look firmly into that utilitarian, warrior-chic territory she’s been owning throughout this press tour.

What I love is how natural it feels on her. Sacai can sometimes come across as niche or “for the insiders,” but Teyana wears it without a hint of effort—tough, glamorous, and playful all at once.

It’s not your standard morning show look, and that’s exactly the point. Teyana doesn’t dress to blend in. She’s always been in a league of her own.
