Teyana Taylor Wore Helen Anthony To The ‘One Battle After Another’ New York Screening

After skipping the Mexico stop, Teyana Taylor was back with her castmates for the One Battle After Another New York screening at The Film Society of Lincoln Center on Sunday.

The timing couldn’t be better. Autumn has officially arrived, but celebrities had already been warming us up to shades of brown last week, and Teyana kept that seasonal momentum going with her Helen Anthony Spring 2025 look.

I loved how she made the checked jumpsuit her own—signature Teyana, leaving the tie undone and the buttons just enough open to give that effortless edge she does so well. It’s sleek but still had some bite, a reminder that she never takes the obvious route.

Where I waver is with the coat. I get that it’s oversized by design, but those wide shoulders push the look a little off-balance on her for me. On the runway, the jumpsuit and tie were buttoned, which held the volume together. On Teyana, with more looseness already happening, the extra fabric just reads a touch heavy. Just a touch.

That said, the jumpsuit itself? I’m all in. It’s strong, stylish, and exactly the kind of transitional statement I want for the first official day of autumn.
