Lily James Wore Prada For Good Morning America
Lily James and black dresses have practically been glued together on her press tour for Swiped. So when she stepped out of the Good Morning America studios en route to her next junket in a brown Prada Fall 2025 look, it made me think about how much I love brown right now. The colour has had great PR this week, showing up as the colour easing us into the new season.
Lily’s pebble leather jacket and matching mini skirt might feel a little eager, considering summer isn’t quite over, but I’m obsessed. I’m glad she opted to use the belt to cinch the oversized jacket just enough to make the proportions work, and not as a neck tie, as seen on the runway.
But then came the accessories. Rather than sinking into tonal neutrals, she went bold with crisp white Prada Antiqued leather pumps and a matching Prada Galleria mini bag. Against the earthy palette, the white brought a lift of brightness—unexpected, yes, but exactly what keeps this outfit from drifting into autumn heaviness.
We’re in that awkward in-between season—one day craving sweaters, the next clutching t-shirts. Lily’s brown-and-white mix might just be the middle ground we didn’t know we needed.
