Aimee Lou Wood Wore McQueen To The 2025 Emmy Awards

Aimee Lou Wood was nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for her role as Chelsea in The White Lotus at the 2025 Emmy Awards on Sunday.

What I love most about Aimee’s style is that she’s never predictable. She isn’t married to a single label or locked into one aesthetic. One moment she’s leaning into quirky English charm, and the next she’s channeling retro influences that suit her beautifully. I’ve always felt those ‘60s and ‘70s silhouettes bring out her strongest red carpet moments.

For the Emmys, she turned to McQueen, wearing a pink bustier gown with the layered bra detail that has been quietly resurfacing. The colours was undeniably striking on her, but I have to admit, I was surprised to learn this was McQueen. My first thought was Prada — the pink tone, the creased finish, the train, and that undone, could-have-been-better quality where structure would have elevated it all felt like hallmarks of Prada rather than McQueen.

This should have been a standout for Aimee, but in the end, the execution didn’t quite live up to the intention. Stuart Weitzman Stuart Power pumps custom-dyed to the dress and David Yurman jewels rounded out the look.
