Parker Posey’s Vintage Dior and Valentino For HBO Max Nominee Celebration Day & Televerse Festival
When it comes to red carpet style, Parker Posey has never been one to play it safe. She thrives on the unexpected, taking risks that might overwhelm on anyone else, but somehow feel true to her playful, eccentric spirit. This weekend in Los Angeles, she doubled down on that reputation with two completely different looks while attending The White Lotus Press Line HBO Max Nominee Celebration Day and the TV Academy’s Inaugural Televerse Festival. Both choices were unapologetically Parker.

HBO Max Nominee Celebration Day
For the HBO Max event, Parker turned to the archives with a striking pink and gold-brocaded paisley maxi dress from Marc Bohan’s 1968 collection for Christian Dior. It beautifully captured the liberated, bohemian mood of the late ’60s, while still nodding to Dior’s legacy of elegance and sophistication. The standout element was the gold coin and pearl-accented belt, which some might argue veers towards belly dancer territory. But removing it would have stripped the look of its character. It’s quintessentially Parker to embrace the theatrical, and here it tied the whole ensemble together. Roger Vivier gold mules complete the look.

TV Academy’s Inaugural Televerse Festival
Her second look was a completely different energy. Wearing Valentino, Parker leaned into maximalism with bold gold patterned fabric, frothy ruffles, and clashing Roger Vivier accessories. While many might find this chaotic (which it is), it feels entirely in step with her eclectic approach. It’s Alessandro Michele’s excess is in full effect, but I love how Parker is having fun with fashion in her own unique way here.
Together, these appearances show that Parker Posey doesn’t bend to trends—she bends fashion to fit her personality.
