Front Row at Schiaparelli Fall 2025 Haute Couture
When you’re sitting front row at a Schiaparelli show, there’s no such thing as too much. The mood is theatrical, the fashion is pure fantasy, and the dress code reads: expressive, elevated, and anything but quiet.
For the Fall 2025 Haute Couture presentation this morning, the front row delivered a range of looks that reflected the house’s vision of couture as a spectacle—a form of art that blurs the lines between fashion and performance. And while some leaned into the drama with maximalist flair, others proved that restraint, when done right, can be just as impactful.

Statement-Making Without Shouting
Hunter Schafer was easily my favourite in the lineup, and she didn’t need props or gimmicks to make an impression. Her Schiaparelli Spring 2025 Haute Couture bustier dress, embroidered entirely in bands of celadon velvet and antique silver bugle beads, felt like a study in controlled glamour.
It was modern, artistic, and entirely in tune with her quietly confident style. Round rhinestone earrings topped with mother-of-pearl and white pumps completed her look. Every detail struck a chord—no theatrics necessary.

When the Look Isn’t the Most Dramatic Part
Cardi B, on the other hand, came for the moment. She wore a black velvet Schiaparelli Spring 2024 Haute Couture gown dripping in fringe, pearls, and the house’s signature sculptural shoulders. But the pièce de résistance? She accessorised with a live crow. Yes, an actual bird perched on her arm. While the gown itself was pure drama and didn’t need anything else, Cardi thrives on virality. The crow may have stolen the headlines, but for me, it distracted from what was otherwise a beautifully dramatic couture look that stood strong on its own.

A Couture Bride-to-Be
Fresh off her engagement to Callum Turner, Dua Lipa gave us a bridal-leaning look in a feathered, paillette-covered white Schiaparelli Spring 2024 Haute Couture gown with sharp shoulders and a heart-shaped keyhole cut-out. The symbolism wasn’t lost—her fiancé has quite literally unlocked her heart. It was a romantic gesture wrapped in Schiaparelli surrealism.

The shoe dress
Ryan Destiny brought a pop of colour in a pink silk satin duchesse Schiaparelli Fall 2024 Haute Couture bustier gown that cascaded in hand-cut ribbons. But what really set this look apart were the tonal 3D trompe l’oeil vintage shoes placed at the neckline—a quirky, couture touch that played right into the house’s surreal codes. The only part I’d edit? The mesh gloves. They weren’t adding much and slightly distracted from the overall magic of the dress.

ReRun Couture
Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu also served up a ribboned Schiaparelli Fall 2025 dress which Ryan Destiny would have instantly recognised, as she wore it first during Cannes Film Festival. Philippine of course put her own spin on it with her styling.

Matador Energy, Bombshell Delivery
Karol G wore a Schiaparelli Spring 2025 Haute Couture dress featuring petal-shaped matador embroidery. The silhouette was powerful and perfectly suited to her bold persona, but I wasn’t totally convinced by the t-bar shoes. Something sleeker and less visually busy would have let the dress command the spotlight it deserved. Still, there’s no denying she wore it with attitude.
From soft statements to headline-making accessories, the Schiaparelli front row didn’t hold back—and that’s exactly how it should be.
