Miley Cyrus Wore Thierry Mugler Headlining Spotify’s Billions Club Series

Miley Cyrus doubled down on the drama, stepping out in a second archival Thierry Mugler look while headlining Spotify’s Billions Club Live concert in Paris this week.

Pulled from the Les Amazones Fall-Winter 1996/1997 collection, this look was a striking collision of theatrical excess and precision tailoring. The corseted bustier, dripping in Mugler’s Jais Rubis Emeraudes crystal embroidery, called to mind cabaret and burlesque glamour, while the sharply tailored black blazer added a commanding masculine edge with strong shoulders and a structured cut that sculpted the silhouette into a hyper-feminine hourglass.

But Mugler being Mugler, there’s always a twist. Turn around and the jacket bursts open in the back to reveal a flaming bustle effect—almost like molten lava spilling from the seams. It’s classic Mugler: sensual, dramatic, and built to turn every head in the room.

You’ll be pleased to know see that her hair was reined in this time, allowing the look’s sculptural brilliance to take centre stage.
