Emma Laird Wore Louis Vuitton To The ’28 Years Later’ London Premiere
Emma Laird officially joined the press tour for 28 Years Later at the film’s world premiere held at the Odeon Luxe Leicester Square—and in true Emma fashion, she arrived in Louis Vuitton.

The actress has built a solid red carpet rapport with the French house, and this shiny silver embroidered backless tulle gown was very much in line with her usual style playbook. But what gave this particular look the edge was its futuristic energy. Sleek, minimal in silhouette, and maximal in texture, the design taps right into Nicolas Ghesquière’s wheelhouse, especially when it comes to merging elegance with a modern, space-age mood.
She looked radiant. This kind of silvery glow flatters her beautifully, and the styling followed through with impact: silver sandals, the Le Damier de Louis Vuitton ring and bracelet in white gold and diamonds, and an Ombre Blossom ear cuff.

That said, the dress could’ve done with a little grooming. Some of the shiny embroidery on the bodice’s right-hand side seemed slightly stuck in the wrong direction, which disrupted the otherwise fluid finish. A minor detail, yes, but one that stood out when everything else felt so considered.
Still, this was a strong outing from Emma, and I appreciate her continued commitment to the more intricate, statement-making offerings from Louis Vuitton.
Stylist: Petra Flannery.
